Dr. Barron treats patients in the greater Ontario area, including Concord, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Thornhill and Woodbridge.
Dr. Barron is a graduate of the University of Toronto and Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery specialty training at the University of Toronto in 2003. He received his certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2003.
Dr. Barron has a strong commitment to education. He maintains an affiliation with the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry in the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. On both local and provincial levels Dr. Barron is a member of the Ontario Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Canadian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is also a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is actively involved in the American Society of Dental Anesthesia and is both a Fellow and Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesia. Dr. Barron is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life support.
Dr. Barron has numerous publications to his credit on various subjects related to the specialty of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He also has lectured on several topics in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Canada, Israel, Turkey as well as in the United States.
Dr. Barron's clinical interests include dentoalveolar surgery and the extraction of wisdom teeth, general anesthesia and IV sedation, implant dentistry and associated bone grafting procedures, correction of facial deformities (orthognathic surgery), oral pathology, dental and facial trauma.
Dr. Barron is married to Polyana and they have three children.
